Am Anfang...
2000
Wir sind Anthology aus Recklinghausen in NRW.
Gegründet 1996, sind wir aus verschiedenen Line up`s (früher Widdershins) hervorgegangen.
Leider sind von der damaligen Urbesetzung (WS) kaum noch Musiker vorhanden.
Da die Musiker aus verschiedenen Metal Musikrichtungen, Metal/Thrash/NU-Metal, kommen,
ist der Musikstil wohl auch irgendwie dort einzuordnen.
Welcher der Kontinuität und Erfahrung der Musiker einzuräumen ist, die alle schon in erwähnenswerten
Bands wie Stepping Stone, Crypt oder Chimaera gespielt haben.
Uns zeichnet eine gute Live Performance aus, die wir schon mit Top Act`s wie Vendetta, Perzonal War
oder Contradiction und auch mit internationalen Bands Pound4Pound (USA) unter Beweis stellen
konnten und sicher aus der vielen Erfahrung und dem Spaß an der Musik der Musiker kommt.
Mann darf mit Sicherheit sagen, dass wir/Anthology, uns ein Renommee
bei den Veranstaltern erspielt/erworben haben welches Zuverlässigkeit und Engagement betrifft.

In the beginning…
We are Anthology from Recklinghausen, Germany.
Founded in 1996, we emerged from different line ups (formerly Widdershins). Sadly, almost none of
the original band members (WS) remain today.
Since the band members hail from different musical styles, Metal/Thrash-, Nu-Metal, the musical
style of Anthology is to be defined somewhere in between.This is due to the continuity and experience
of the band members, who all played in mentionable bands like Stepping Stone, Crypt oder Chimaera.
We stand for a gripping and good live performance, which we already proved along top acts like Vendetta, Perzonal War, Contradiction or international bands. Another proof of the band’s experience and fun
to perform.
It’s sure to say that we/Anthology have garnered a reputation with bookers and the like, concerning our reliability and involvement.
